ReSerch is built privacy-first. Here's exactly what happens with your data.
Nothing. ReSerch has no accounts, no servers, no analytics SDKs. Your transcripts and history live on your iPhone only.
ReSerch downloads the public video file from the URL you paste, extracts the audio, and runs transcription using the open-source Whisper model on your device's Neural Engine. The video file and audio are deleted after transcription. None of this leaves your phone.
ReSerch makes anonymous network requests to TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram to fetch the videos you ask it to transcribe. Those services have their own terms of use. We don't proxy or log those requests.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. Apple shares with us only the receipt data needed to verify your purchase. We don't see your name, email, payment method, or anything else identifying. Refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how Apple handles purchases.
